The January 2022 Pantheon Nominees Are Here!

The January 2022 Pantheon Nominees Are Here!

Greetings Disciples of the Blood God! It’s time to help us choose the next candidate for inclusion in the Pantheon of the Blood God.  This month’s theme is Host Picks! We’ve asked Eric, Kat, Nadia and $100 Patron Valexia for their nominations, which you can then vote on! Voting is available here.

Here are the nominees:

Dark Souls, which we recently decided was actually an RPG. Truly the Dark Souls of Discourse. This is Valexia’s pick! We truly appreciate her support!

Chrono Cross, the sort-of sequel to Chrono Trigger! There are rumors of impending remake, which makes this a great opportunity to visit this lost classic! This is Nadia’s Pick!

Pokemon Diamond, Pearl & Platinum, the Nintendo DS generation that brought the series to the Sinnoh region! Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl are out now, and they’re basically 1:1 remakes, so let’s decide if Gen 4 deserves a place in the Pantheon! This is Kat’s Pick!

Moon, the RPG that satirized RPGs! Released in North America in 2020, this is Eric’s Pick!

As part of this process, we will once again be hosting a month-long Game Club over on the Discord! Nadia and I will actively be playing the game we choose, and we encourage you to join with us on the Discord as part of the Pantheon Game Club discussion!

Voting is available to all Patrons! We will be closing voting on the morning of Wednesday, December 1, so make sure to make your selection before then! And as always, thank you so much to our $10 Patrons and above for your generous support!
